Frequently Asked Questions

Who should use DrinkWaterinBed?

Everyone! DrinkWaterinBed has been used by athletes, surgery recovery patients, individuals who suffer from dry-mouth, and anyone who likes to have a cup of water on their nightstand.

Can I use the DrinkWaterinBed while lying down?

Do what you feel comfortable with. We use DrinkWaterinBed on our sides, on our backs with our heads tilted, or propped up seated.

How much water does the DrinkWaterinBed hold?

DrinkWaterinBed has a maximum capacity of 2L; however, we recommend filling it half-way to start as the carrying capacity of each location varies.

How do I clean the bladder?

To clean the bladder, first fill up with dish soap and water to kill any bacteria. Then rinse out twice with water to remove residual soap. We recommend doing this every time you refill.

How often should I replace the water in my DrinkWaterinBed?

We recommend replacing any water in the tank at least every 24 hours, but use your judgment based on your preferences and air quality. Carbon-dioxide starts impacting the ‘taste’ of water immediately; however, the water remains safe to drink until air particles or bacteria contaminate the water.

How do I hang the suction cup?

To hang the suction cup first ensure that the wall is flat and clean. Then remove the backing of the suction cup and press the adhesive side firmly against the wall. Next, let the hanger remain for 24 hours before hooking the drinkwaterinbed system.
